Photography has taken me all over the world. From the Blue Ridges here on the East Coast to the sunny West Coast, to the tropical waters of St. Lucia, to the brisk and beautiful lands of Iceland, and to the green pastures of Ireland. I jump at every chance to shoot somewhere new! I am incredibly honored when one of my couples invites me along to photograph and witness their vows at their destination event.

In recent years, I have fallen head over heels for landscape photography and discovered a love for photographing architecture as well. Many of our trips are planned solely around seeing incredible landscapes and urban spaces. You will find me clicking away if there are stunning vistas, roaring waterfalls, rocky coastline, and towering trees. I love the way nature and design often meet to create something even better. The way a person can take a dull material like marble, stone, brick, or clay and breathe life into it is a talent that I admire and greatly respect. I grew in the Shenandoah Valley and a piece of my heart will always be there. The mountains call me home from time to time and when they do, I take that opportunity to drive on the Parkway or to stop at an overlook to breathe in the mountain air. One of the best parts about driving out that way is pulling off at one of the many stunning vineyards. Each vineyard seems to be placed in the most gorgeous vista with rolling hills covered in green vines and the mountains always in view. There’s nothing like sharing a bottle of rose and a charcuterie board with good friends and taking in the view.
